DHS Takes Dangerous Criminal Illegal Aliens Off America’s Streets
The Department of Homeland Security announced Thursday that five illegal immigrants convicted of horrifying violent crimes are now back in federal custody thanks to decisive action by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). These individuals, found guilty of offenses including manslaughter, child sexual assault, and armed carjacking, had no business being in the United States in the first place.
According to DHS, the arrests involved illegal aliens from Honduras, Mexico, Guatemala, and Vietnam — all with serious criminal records that put American families at risk. The swift enforcement action sends a clear message: under strong leadership, protecting American communities comes first.
DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis did not mince words when addressing the arrests.
“ICE arrested criminal illegal aliens convicted of manslaughter, sexually assaulting a child, and carjacking. These types of depraved criminals should never have been in the U.S. in the first place.”
She praised ICE officers as patriots who risk their lives each day to remove violent offenders from neighborhoods across the country. Her message to Americans was simple: when you see an ICE officer, thank them for defending our homeland.
The Criminals Arrested
DHS released details on the five individuals taken into custody:
- Angel Rodriguez-Padilla, an illegal immigrant from Honduras, was convicted of manslaughter in Dallas County, Texas.
- Henri Oliva-Marroquin, also from Honduras, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
- Pedro Bahena-Mendoza, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child in Cook County, Illinois.
- Nehimias Isaac Aguilar-Velasquez, from Guatemala, was convicted in Phoenix, Arizona, of aggravated assault, domestic violence, and attempted sexual assault.
- Hung Thanh Dinh, an illegal immigrant from Vietnam, was convicted of armed carjacking in Malibu, California.
These are not minor offenses. These are brutal, life-altering crimes committed against innocent victims — crimes that should never have occurred on American soil. Each case highlights the devastating consequences of weak border enforcement and so-called “sanctuary” policies that shield criminal aliens from federal authorities.
